The Lookout Tower at Selah Ridge overlooks the breathtaking North Georgia Appalachian Mountains. Located in Ringgold, Georgia, it stands 35 feet tall, and sits on 16 acres of private property. Minutes from some of Georgia's best wineries and desirable hiking, whitewater, and other fun scenic activities in Chattanooga and Tennessee Valley. Upon arrival, a luggage lift will whisk your belongings to the top deck. There are three levels. On the ground level, practice your putting skills on the putting green, or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. The first platform is a full entertainment space. Enjoy movies under the stars courtesy of the Nebula projector and giant screen while relaxing on a handcrafted swing bed. It also includes an outdoor kitchen and grill. On the top platform, a king-size bed with a five-star memory foam mattress and comfy down alternative pillows awaits. The wraparound windows provide perfect views of stunning sunrises and sunsets. A coffee nook is perfect for grabbing your morning cup-o’-joe. The kitchenette includes a Smeg mini fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. An indoor bathroom is also included in the living quarters, to save you from running downstairs to find the nearest tree. Speaking of trees, shower among the treetops in the outdoor shower, which has become a guest favorite. The Lookout Tower at Selah Ridge is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and refocus. Won’t you come join us? We live on site and will be as involved with our guest's experience or as uninvolved as they would like us to be. Resting in Georgia, but in the heart of the Tennessee Valley, our Lookout Tower is only 20 minutes from Chattanooga and approximately a 1.5 hours drive from Atlanta. It rests very close to some of the greatest hiking and outdoor activities. One of our favorite wineries is also within a few miles and offers tastings of some of the sweetest Georgia grapes daily. Excursions like the famous Rock City, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and even Cloudland Canyon are only a short distance. Traveling is made easy by car with a gravel parking lot just a few hundred feet from the Lookout Tower getaway. Also, feel free to bring your bike to ride the flowing mountain roads or mountain trails.

May 2025 5.00This is a most amazing getaway! Be prepared to get in some exercise with the stairs at the Lookout Tower but the view is worth it. You can always relax your muscles in the rock hot tub below or relax in the sauna at The Greenhouse and take a cold plunge to invigorate your body and soul! April and Daniel have thought of everything and our stay was better than I could have imagined it would be. Be sure to take advantage of the add-on options. We enjoyed making our own pizza and enjoying a bubbly drink. We were able to relax and enjoy each other and it was amazing!

May 2025 5.00The lookout tower was simply amazing—an unforgettable escape into nature’s embrace. Standing high above the treetops, the sense of freedom was palpable, as if the world had momentarily paused just for us. Every detail of the place was thoughtfully crafted. It was a perfect blend of serenity and wonder. We’ll definitely be back.

May 2025 5.00My wife and I stayed our second night at Lookout Tower since Shiloh wasn’t available for a second night. The weather was supposed to be mostly rain, but we had a great day of mixed sun/clouds. We have stayed at several places but none close to this! The setting was so peaceful, private, but still convenient to food and shopping. My wife put it into our favorites almost immediately, and she kept saying the hosts have thought of every detail. I would definitely recommend staying at Selah Ridge Lookout Tower!

April 2025 5.00My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. It was the best weekend!! The bedroom is cozy and well air conditioned, the view is incredible (especially the sunset), and we were so thankful for the personal touches, recommendations, and extensive directions for everything. Would definitely recommend this place to others and hope we can come back in the future! Thanks so much April & Daniel!

March 2025 5.00we enjoyed the unique experience of sleeping in the treetops, listening to the pines sing, enjoying gentle breezes and fresh mountain air. The hot tub was so relaxing. The outdoor space allowed for enjoying nature with every comfort. The top cabin was so cozy, with so many intimate details. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

March 2025 5.00We stayed here for our "mini-moon" and it couldn't have been better. The seclusion and comfortability it offered was exactly what we were looking for. From the beautiful sunrises to wake up to, to the gorgeous sunsets viewed from the hot tub, every moment was relaxing. We also enjoyed massages at the greenhouse on property which we highly recommend! Christy was phenomenal! When we weren't at a winery or brewery around the area we were laid up on the porch swing reading while enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountain.
