We absolutely loved our stay at the Shiloh. It was magical and perfect for a weekend of relaxation!

Perfect peaceful getaway!! Every detail of the experience made this a vacation we would never forget. The adorable house, the fire pit, the hot tub, the views, the secret room, and the outdoor shower that made the experience truly unique! Thank you April and Daniel for being the best hosts and for creating something that is and will continue to be a special place for so many.

This small resort is an absolute gem. We stayed in the Shiloh to celebrate my wife's birthday. The house is so unique, interesting, private, and whimsical. It is built right into a hillside and has beautiful, thick, custom doors, a massive rock wall in the living room, comfortable furnishings and good energy. And a fun surprise which i won't spoil! The shower is wonderful and is outdoors which is a treat. We contracted with chef David who prepared an excellent meal for a group of 9, served in Selah Ridge's charming greenhouse. This chef is the real deal and made us an incredible 4-course meal over open flame. Many in our group felt it was one of the best meals we have had in memory, and many said the dessert was the best in their life. Hosts/owners April and Daniel are are kind, thoughtful, and charming. They went out of their way to make our stay so special and meaningful. We will definitely be back. Well done!

If you are looking for a magical getaway with your family (or even with just your partner), The Shiloh is definitely your destination. This was a quick reset for our family to just be together, play games, enjoy the hot tub and grill out together. They do a fantastic job of making you feel extremely cozy with the bedding and linens and equipping you with just the right amount of kitchen items. You feel at peace on their property and that's just what we needed before the reality of school and work came crashing in for 2026!

This may be our favorite spot of anywhere we’ve stayed. Everything is as advertised. The Shiloh is an incredibly unique structure and the hosts are as good as they come. They’ve considered all the details and have made this a fantastic place to stay. We’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax in a peaceful, secluded environment with the option of a short drive for dining and other experiences in town.

A wonderfully curated experience that calms yet invigorates the senses. The attention to detail throughout the space is worth a 5 star resort rating with all the peace & privacy to enjoy. Another much appreciated detail besides the beautiful architecture and amazing views are how well taken care of (inside and out ) and cherished this place is…an absolute privilege to stay. Check in was a breeze..seamless and private.

My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to enjoy The Shiloh after Daniel and April so kindly donated it a weekend stay for a silent auction supporting "Rescuing Hope". In no surprise that kindhearted good people have such an INCREDIBLE piece of property, my girlfriend and I have traveled a good amount, and this was the most peace we have found essentially in our backyard. There are very few places I have ever been that look better than the pictures, the pictures do not do The Shiloh justice (they are great pictures) It really is a place of healing. We enjoyed our time so much and will absolutely be back. I recommend that If you're in-between going or not, make the decision and do it. It is worth it.

We loved our stay at the Shiloh! It almost felt like a hobbit house. The craftsmanship that went into this house is amazing. The huge round window in the bedroom, the beautiful woodwork on the doors, all the stonework, the spa, the outdoor shower, the anccent wall, heated bathroom floors, and especially the hidden room are all so very special. We highly recommend a stay here.

My husband and I have been married for 30 years. We’ve had many fun getaways at various resorts. The Shiloh is definitely one of our favorites! Clean, comfy, romantic, and peaceful. Highly recommend.

April and Daniel have a beautiful place.. The stone jacuzzi overlooking the mountains was amazing. It smelled very spa like- reminded us of a spa retreat almost. They had sweet little treats for us inside. It took a little getting used to that the main door doesn't lock from the outside and the big window feels a little exposed, but it was still very private. The rain put a damper on the outside amenities but highly recommend.

The Shiloh was a magical place! We could not think of anything else we would have needed for our stay. Such a beautiful relaxing vibe. Would 100% recommend!!

Where do I begin?! The beautiful and quaint exterior you pull up to and hear the waterfall. You open the door to relaxing soft music and a wonderful faint scent. The whole place is designed with everything thoughtfully placed. Daniel and April we quickly available for assistance but our stay was very private.

The Shiloh was an absolute dream. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. From the second we walked in the door we were in awe. It is so peaceful and relaxing and everything we had hoped it would be. The welcome gift was such a sweet touch and really made us feel special. We enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor shower and the many cozy spaces throughout the house and can’t wait to visit again.

I'm always looking for little getaways for my husband I, unique, close to home places to stay. We've been to many places so far and we love the stories we have to bring back from those places, then we move on to the next. The Shiloh though....has been my favorite. I told him, we are definately coming back here and he agreed. It is secluded, unique, clean, comfortable and has all the things. We've never had our own "private" pool before just usually a hot tub. Heated bathroom floors, outside showering, you can go on the roof tops, has a hidden room, fire pit and many many more options What is missing? Us living there!!! Can't wait to return!

My husband and I had the best time at The Shiloh for 2 nights in July. Every detail of both the stay and the house was so carefully thought through! We loved the pool and hot tub and outdoor shower. The view was beautiful, the home was so clean and it was so evident that the Phelans are so gifted at hosting as the home had everything we needed to just relax and recharge for a few days. We are already dreaming of when we can go back!

We absolutely loved staying at The Shiloh. The pictures does not do this place justice. It is definitely an experience to experience. Everything from the hidden room to the outdoor shower was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed spending time in nature. This is definitely a place to go for relaxation and to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. April and Daniel were great hosts. They answered any and all questions that we had. We will definitely book again in the future!

My wife and I stayed at the Shiloh. What they've set up there is a peaceful oasis. We loved the attention to detail in their hospitality, cleverly designed spaces, and the wonder we felt in finding the hidden room. By far our fav place we have stayed! Words can’t describe this little slice of heaven. Beautiful inside and out. Every detail was thought out beautifully to bring this stunning dream to light! Hosts Eve. Go the extra mile and provided muffins, popcorn, smores kit and anything you forgot. If you haven’t booked now do it fast because once the word gets out this place will stay booked up!

Where do you begin? We arrived to Shiloh the first day staying at Selah, and I must say we’ve never been as surprised to see so many different details in one place. The house had beautiful scenery, a pool/hot tub like no other we had seen, heated floors in the bathroom, and an outdoor shower that was so relaxing. We enjoyed everything this place offered including the outdoor area, the hidden bunk room, and streaming through the projector. I would highly recommend this place!

My husband and I visited with our young children as an overnight family getaway (We live about two hours away in East TN). We were so excited to visit a place designed like a little hobbit home in the Shire—we were not disappointed! Everything was unique and lovely, and our host had including so many nice little details like coffee and muffins, s'mores supplies, hot cocoa and marshmallows, movie popcorn, and soft music and aroma therapy when we walked in. The kids loved the hidden room and getting to watch a movie in there. They loved the sod roof and pool and hot tub. We grilled burgers on the blackstone and ate by the fire pit outside. I loved the outdoor shower and the unique design of everything. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful place to recharge and create beautiful memories. Comfortable beds, beautiful scenery and every detail in the house was well thought of and lovely. Nice places to visit while in the area such as Ruby Falls and Rock City. Our family had a great time.

We stayed in the beautiful Shiloh! It was so stunning and very easy on the eyes! A beautiful place! We unfortunately did not get to access the green house area. Every time we went it was being used for a private event. We even tried at 7:30 am and it was closed for a private massage. We would have loved to have seen the inside! I’m sure it was beautiful! The Shiloh was great however it does only have the outside shower. It was very beautiful but also it was cold and we didn’t want to shower more than once because of that. Overall a beautiful experience and I’m so glad we were able to see most of the amenities!

Our time at the Shiloh in Selah Ridge was truly unforgettable. It was the perfect retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the thought and care put into every detail of this space. My husband and I had the most amazing 3 nights! Every detail is perfection. We were able to relax and spend some quality time together. We added on the pizza kit for the first night and that worked out great. We also had the private chef dinner and we can both tell you that is a must!! Every course he brought out was so good. My mom, sister, and I came here for a girl's weekend--April and Daniel put a lot of thought into the amenities and cleanliness of the Shiloh house! We had the best weekend, with some of our favorite experiences being playing games in the main space (using the folding tables), hot tubbing/cold plunging, the outdoor shower, hiking in cloudland canyon, and making s'mores by the fire. We would come back here in a heartbeat! If we needed anything, they were so quick to communicate and accommodate us. :) Thank you, April and Daniel, for the perfect weekend getaway!

I was on the hunt in my mind for a suprise spot for husband's birthday getaway and this destination happened to pop up while scrolling, so I said why not, this place looks amazing and only a few hours away. So glad I did! From pulling up to opening the door. It was more than we expected. So calming, the views were amazing, and every intentional touch to the space lived up to the name. SN: John did his thing with the private dinner experience. It was a vibe for us. Perfect spot to stay in the entire time or get out and explore. Thanks to our amazing hosts, April and Daniel, we can't wait to visit again!

Staying at The Shiloh was an absolute dream! This Airbnb feels like stepping into a fairytale—something straight out of The Shire. The pool and spa were incredible, and we loved making breakfast on the Blackstone griddle each morning. Evenings around the outdoor firepit were cozy and perfect for s'mores. The outdoor waterfall shower was such a unique touch, and climbing on the roof was a highlight for my kids—they never wanted to leave! The hidden movie room and bunk room were so creative and made for unforgettable movie nights together. The attention to detail throughout the property is amazing, and everything you could possibly need for an incredible stay is provided. The views were stunning, especially with the fall leaves changing colors. It was such a peaceful and magical place to relax. This was truly one of my favorite stays (and we’ve traveled a lot)! Don’t wait—book this place now before it becomes impossible to get a reservation. You won’t regret it!

Wow. This was beyond what we imagined! The blessing of this restful home brought so much renewing!! The effort in the details are noticeable and felt! I can not say enough wonderful things about The Shiloh and about April and Daniel. The peace and tranquility we felt as soon as we entered the property was comforting. They have gone above and beyond to think of every little detail to make our stay exceed any expectations we could have. We were lucky enough to have time to enjoy every element of the house. We were able to enjoy the pool before warming up and relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of wine, followed by s'mores by the fire all provided by April. We ended the evening in the hidden room cozied up on a very comfortable bunk bed watching a movie. The morning started with a cup of coffee and a delicious muffin that April was so kind to provide. After another relaxing moment spent in the hot tub, we decided to experience the outdoor shower. We weren't sure what to expect but it was peaceful, private, and a very comfortable time. Before leaving the property we decided to stop by the greenhouse for a look. This is when we got to meet Daniel and everything wonderful we experienced made sense. Daniel is such a man of God. You can tell just in conversation that everything he and April have built has been blessed by the Lord and they have faithfully given God all the credit. They use their property to bring glory to God and bless others. Thank you both for sharing this with my husband and I.

Let’s start off with April & Daniel are amazing host, if you’re looking for a place to get away from everything else that’s going on in the world this is definitely the place to go. One of the most relaxing and tranquil places we’ve been to in a long time. The pictures don’t do the place justice it’s a place you’ll have to visit to get the full experience. I 100% recommend this for couples even small families to book this trip and unwind from the world and reconnect. We will definitely be coming back. I had the pleasure of staying at the Shiloh and it was definitely an unforgettable experience. Upon our arrival, my boyfriend and I felt like little kids exploring the property and all its wonders. April & Daniel left us with an adorable welcome basket and a plethora of local recommendations. We scheduled a treetop photo shoot and could not be happier with the memories that were captured! Thank you for this little slice of paradise. Hopefully we will be back soon! Heads up, there is an extremely steep driveway so make sure you don’t bring a car that is low to the ground.

It is the perfect place for a peaceful retreat! The whole family enjoyed our stay, my daughters loved the hidden room, it’s very well thought out. The view was incredible and having the opportunity to enjoy the nature in your hot tub or the private small pool is priceless. Daniel and April were very nice, and it was fun talking to you and meeting the little princess 👸. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to treat themselves or someone special!

This is by far the most unique and special AirBnB we have ever rented. The house and surroundings are peaceful and serene. Nothing to do but spend time lounging in the beautiful house, soaking in the hot tub, hanging out by the fire pit, and generally just chill for a couple of days. A wonderful stay at the Shiloh! Thank you for allowing us to visit your property. Working in healthcare, sometimes we need to get away to the beauty of nature. The home and grounds were beautiful. I was sad to leave and hope to come back soon. The home looks like it’s never been touched. It was clean and everything was immaculate. I have visited several treehouses and homes in North Georgia, and this one was my favorite by far! I loved the waterfall in the shower. It was extremely relaxing taking a shower outside. I was worried about feeling exposed, but it was very private. The bed was very comfortable and with the large window, it felt like you were surrounded by natural beauty. I spent several hours the evening before we left by the fire and in the pool/spa area. The living area and kitchen was perfect and included everything you needed. Of course, the hidden room was super neat. I didn’t watch any movies, but it would be perfect for a movie night. I drove into Dalton and ate lunch one day and visited a park. The drive wasn’t bad at all. I can’t wait to visit again in the future.

With every detail perfect, our initial walk-thru at Shiloh was delightful! Creatively constructed, super-cool surprises awaited us at every turn, like a treasure chest! We hurried through each space then retraced our steps to not miss anything. It was so fun to seek out all the amazing finds! The time there was peace-filled and refreshing in every way. Thoughtful touches and delicious treats added to our happy getaway. Thank you... we already look forward to a return visit!

Highly recommend. My husband and 2 kids stayed at The Shiloh for 2 nights and we were so impressed. The arched doorways, greenery throughout, the added lights, hidden room, outdoor shower and the pool / hot tub were all highlights of our stay. The construction and attention to details of this cozy house made us feel like we were in an European villa. We added the private chef dinner for one of our nights and it was the highlight for us and the kids. The Chef was so personable, the food was outstanding and drinks were fresh and delicious. Will definitely consider visiting again and trying one of the other homes!

Very magical quiet oasis

One of the best stays we’ve had at any location. The drive in was beautiful and the property was magical and immaculate in cleanliness and design!

We had the most amazing stay at The Shiloh! April and Daniel did everything to make our stay magical. They don’t forget anything. We visited with our teenage kids and they loved throwing axes and the movie room. The special chef dinner was magical. We will be back!

If you have been craving connection with your family, then his is the place to go! We felt like we were whisked away to another world and we were the only 4 people in it! We laughed, played our favorite boards games, sat around the fire, swam, and just enjoyed the moment. Everybody needs a reset like this🤍

WOW! Not sure how to accurately describe this little magical gem of a retreat, nestled right in the North GA Mtns. Close to Dalton, GA, but also close enough to the bigger city of Chattanooga, TN. (Not that you would want to leave this place during your stay, that is) - Customer Service from the moment of booking, throughout the stay, (even with a hiccup of our personal plans) was absolutely superb and extremely quick and accommodating. The area itself is so quiet and serene that you would never know that the owners live right down the way! The house itself is something straight out of "Middle Earth." It is so magical and doesn't look like it should be real. The attention to detail is immaculate and makes you feel so luxurious; from the heated tile in the bathroom, to the boujee outdoor shower. Can't say enough things about this beautiful place - If you want a unique experience in the North GA/Chattanooga area, this is your place! :)

10/10. Could go for an anniversary with your spouse or with your entire fam. We went with our 3 young children and had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about booking it, do it. April and Daniel are very friendly and go above and beyond in every facet of the stay. We will be back!

Rest & relaxation! Our anniversary trip well spent amongst the treetops. The add ons were well worth also! Charcuterie board, pizza kit and private chef dinner. We never left the property. The Shiloh is such a magical build and so thankful we were able to visit.

My family of three loved being in this cozy home. The lighting is one of my favorite parts of this place. Coming from the pool to the hot tub feels amazing. The waterfall shower is such a great new experience. Daniel and April are amazing hosts and you will feel right at home here!
